Interview with Miguel Hamutenya

EduKick interviews Miguel Hamutenya on his time with EduKick, his soccer success and his move to the Glasgow Rangers.

How did your training with EduKick England prepare you for your pro career?

“Training with Edukick England guided and helped me in many ways to make it as a professional, not only physically, but taught me the things behind the scenes in making it as a professional. Something I learned was that small things make a difference. Being set up with a premier league football team like Bolton Wanderers shows you what is needed to be done. Having Top Coaches with top facilities plays a huge part. It makes you hungry to succeed. Being in a program like EduKick makes you see how much work you have to put in to succeed.”

Do you have any good memories you can share from your time in England?

“Just improving day by day as a player is my greatest memory. As months past, I felt like a better player. My development is my greatest memory.”

How has your time in Israel made you a stronger player?

“Israel is a completely different style of football. I was with the first team, the guys were very strong and at a very good standard. Playing with players with so much experience benefited me as the youngest player on the team.”

What are you looking forward to with the move to the Glasgow Rangers?

“I’m looking forward to progressing even more and fighting for a place in the first team. It is an absolute honor to be playing in such a prestigious football club with such history. In my eyes, it is one of the best teams out there competing with the biggest clubs.”

Do you have any advice for younger players trying to go pro?

“Work hard! Believe in yourself and never give up. If you want it that bad you will get there regardless. Listening to your coaches is vital, listen to every word. Make sure you focus and give it your all, always. If you fail, stay positive and keep going.”

Would you recommend EduKick International football Academies to other aspiring players?

“Yes! I certainly would. It’s taken me to where I am today and made me the player I am. I would recommend it to any player out there who knows they have the potential of making it as a footballer.”

EduKick Madrid | Antonio Moreyes Representing Russia National Team

EduKick Madrid’s Antonio Moreyes is representing Russia’s National Team at the Youth Soccer International Tournament in San Petersburg, Russia.

Antonio will be competing against other nations like Turkey, Holland, Finland and many more.

We are eagerly awaiting the next tournament that will take place on January 30th and will continue through February 4th.

We are proud of Antonio Moreyes and we wish him the best of luck in all his endeavors. Antonio’s EduKick family is supporting him and look forward to watching his success!

EduKick Madrid Players Visit El Escorial

Last weekend, Edukick Madrid players went to monumental El Escorial for a guided tour and official reception of the El Escorial Master Guides and municipal authorities. They visited the Monasterio (seventh beauty of the world as has been declared by UNESCO), the palace and the adjacent museums and churches.

After the cultural tour, players and staff enjoyed the delicious Spanish gastronomy. This gave them a chance to spend time together before they left to be with their families for Christmas.

Players had a few hours to rest before their two games (juvenile and senior) against 5th division El Escorial. The games were very exciting with a high caliber of good plays and scoring.

Both teams worked to enjoy themselves without worrying to much about score. Everyone was happy to spend time with one another and have the opportunity to celebrate the holidays together with a mixture of culture and soccer.

EduKick Squares Off Against Real Madrid

EduKick International Football Academy’s soccer teams from England and Spain are scheduled to meet Real Madrid for the second consecutive year.

Real Madrid is confirmed to return for the XXVI edition of the Youth Football (Soccer) International Championship “Alcala de Henares Cup”. This will take place in Madrid, Spain in April.

When asked how the players are expected to perform against Real Madrid, Sergio León replied, “I expect a serious team that will make a huge effort to give our highest level within the field.” Sergio León is EduKick Madrid’s Head Technical Soccer Coach.

EduKick’s teams are hoping for a victory this year, but León says their biggest hope is for, “the desire and enthusiasm of everyone to learn and become better.”

Sergio León believes EduKick’s biggest challenge this year will be to, “improve ourselves, to grow personally and professionally, to have an exemplary attitude on and off the field and to maintain a nice experience for everybody.”

EduKick players from both the England and Madrid academies are very excited to have an opportunity to play against one of the world’s biggest and most popular football clubs.

The EduKick staff shares this excitement. Anselmo Vicioso-Aragonés, EduKick Madrid’s Professional Sports Psychology Consultant, gives a words of inspiration. “This is your greatest chance ever to show who you are in soccer. Come and do your best. We believe in you one hundred percent. Let’s do it.”

The Alcala de Henares Cup serves as a family reunion for EduKick International Football Academies. EduKick Madrid welcomes their “sister academy” EduKick England to Madrid.

Joey Bilotta, EduKick Founder and Vice President, and Jon Morgan, EIFA General Manager, will also be attending this exciting event. Bilotta and Morgan will visit all the participating EduKick academy players. The players parents are invited to attend the event and will get the opportunity to meet Bilotta and Morgan in this “Easter” football (soccer) tournament.

Everyone is very excited about the upcoming excitement.
