Last year, for the U17 group, 6 players signed a professional or semi-professional contracts with French clubs. Dylan BLITO (pictured at right) signed a professional contract at the Centre de Formation of AS Monaco FC. He received a contract with salary and a special package for his family to reside close to him in Monaco.

Real Madrid is confirmed to return for the XXVI edition of the Youth Football (Soccer) International Championship “Alcala de Henares Cup”. This will take place in Madrid, Spain in April.

When asked how the players are expected to perform against Real Madrid, Sergio León replied, “I expect a serious team that will make a huge effort to give our highest level within the field.” Sergio León is EduKick Madrid’s Head Technical Soccer Coach.

EduKick’s teams are hoping for a victory this year, but León says their biggest hope is for, “the desire and enthusiasm of everyone to learn and become better.”

Sergio León believes EduKick’s biggest challenge this year will be to, “improve ourselves, to grow personally and professionally, to have an exemplary attitude on and off the field and to maintain a nice experience for everybody.”

EduKick players from both the England and Madrid academies are very excited to have an opportunity to play against one of the world’s biggest and most popular football clubs.

The EduKick staff shares this excitement. Anselmo Vicioso-Aragonés, EduKick Madrid’s Professional Sports Psychology Consultant, gives a words of inspiration. “This is your greatest chance ever to show who you are in soccer. Come and do your best. We believe in you one hundred percent. Let’s do it.”

The Alcala de Henares Cup serves as a family reunion for EduKick International Football Academies. EduKick Madrid welcomes their “sister academy” EduKick England to Madrid.

Joey Bilotta, EduKick Founder and Vice President, and Jon Morgan, EIFA General Manager, will also be attending this exciting event. Bilotta and Morgan will visit all the participating EduKick academy players. The players parents are invited to attend the event and will get the opportunity to meet Bilotta and Morgan in this “Easter” football (soccer) tournament.

Antonio Morelles, 17, is currently training with EduKick Madrid. He was recently called to represent Russia.

Antonio is excited to be given this opportunity to represent his native Russia. He assures his coaches and friends at EduKick that he will not disappoint them.

Antonio has been asked to participate in a number of matches for Russia’s Under 18 squad in January.

“I am excited to represent my country, it’s a dream come true. A change in the Head Coach has led to this call-up…he really likes my game and wants me there,” says Antonio.

Nico attended EduKick’s Year Long Spain Academy where he trained with the mental coach for the World Cup winning Spanish national team. His hard work and devotion secured him a place at the RSL Academy.

Nico also attended a trial with our affiliate 3rd division pro team A.D.Colmenar in August, 2011 before returning to sign for RSL.

This 2011-2012 season, at Edukick Madrid, we have a 23 of the luckiest football players in the world. Mr. Aragones, Edukick Madrid General Coordinator and former mental coach of Spanish National Football team visited the team training grounds and residence at Universidad Autonoma.

For Mr. Aragones it was impressive to see so much young talent and enthusiasm reunited in a close group of international players representing more than twenty different nations and cultures of the world in just one single team: THE EDUKICK MADRID TEAM.

Last week, minutes before one of their daily practices at Colmenar Stadium, Mr Aragones addressed the Edukick Madrid team.

Here are some excerpts of his speech:
“I am here today to welcome all of you to Edukick Madrid. We are very happy that you have chosen to be here this season. For us you are the luckiest youngsters in the world. You are doing what you love the most, playing futbol and playing it here in Spain at the highest level.

You have to thank your parents for giving this great opportunity to become your best as footballer, as student and above all as a person. We will feel rewarded as educators and coaches if, at the end of this 2011/12 journey, you are better player, learner and individual.

We are here to grant you our best expertise and knowledge for you to grow up, on and off the field. The game is on, and you are the main actor. It is up to you to excel with each practice, with each game, with each class and with each one of the learning experiences that will be opening for you while in Spain.

Use them to your advantage, because when you train, you always train for you, not for your coach. When you study and learn you study for you, not for your teacher, and when you grow up in character it stays with you forever, not in anybody else.

So accept the challenge, we wish you all the best for this new 2011/12 season at Edukick Madrid.”
