Congratulations Marten Sealy for scoring professional tryouts in Ecuador!

Marten is an Edukick alumni from Madrid ELITE 2nd session, August 2008. He is now living in Ecuador and has his first tryout for a professional team this Tuesday, January 12th! The team is called Club Deportivo Universidad Tecnica de Cotopaxi (UTC). UTC is “en la serie B” in the national Ecuador league.

Marten has taken a few months off from high school in Canada to study spanish in Ecuador and tryout for teams. Ecuador is a very interesting place to visit; Marten has visited the Andes, explored the Amazon, the costal cloud forest, and of course, the beach.

His experience at EduKick international football(soccer) academies honed his skills, and brought a new fire for the sport.

“Marten had a very positive soccer experience with Edukick,” said Adrea Fiscer, Marten’s mother. “It taught him to be more aggresive and to be first to the ball. He also learned to adapt to playing in a warmer climate; Madrid was a lot warmer than Marten’s hometown, Whitehorse, Yukon!”
